After being locked down for weeks with no hope of escape (like the rest of the planet), the Tiger Lillies have broken out of their private lairs to come together over Zoom to perform the entire Covid-19 album in full.
Watch Martyn Jacques and Adrian Stout of The Tiger Lillies slap on their makeup at home and play their new album for 45 strange and unusual minutes over Zoom.
Hammond organ, musical saw, jaw harps, accordion and double bass all make an appearance in this exclusive video, in which the band play songs of toilet roll shortages, loneliness, personal hygiene and isolation.
The Covid-19 album is available on Bandcamp and we hope that fans will be buy a copy on May 1 when Bandcamp is waiving its fees to help artists. We are also adding more of our back catalogue to Bandcamp, as well as unreleased albums from our archives.
The prospects of the band being able to perform live this year are currently looking very bleak, so after watching the video we hope that you can show your support for The Tiger Lillies by buying a copy of one of our albums through Bandcamp or by making a donation though our PayPal.me account which goes directly to the band.
Thanks for watching and supporting The Tiger Lillies.
