The band will premiere their brand new album entitled ‘Down in Lemonaki’, on Thursday, October 1, at the Herodion, along with songs from the two "Covid-19" albums, which were recorded during the lockdown.
“Down in Lemonaki” is based on the Rebetiko lyrics of the early 20th century, the songs focus on the poorest in society, telling stories of homelessness, poverty, drug addiction, police brutality and lost love.
Greece has become a second home for The Tiger Lillies, over the years they have performed their hit theatre shows The Tiger Lillies Circus and Freakshow, as well as performing concert tours throughout the country.
