THANK YOU AND GOOD NIGHT is a very exciting project that will be premiered in Barcelona. It’s a collection of songs very much in a murder song tradition. Death, blood, suffering and also the psychological implications involved which result in trauma and psychological damage, madness and guilt. When I was writing the songs I was thinking largely about the tyrants of the modern world and how they create terrible suffering for ordinary people and yet delude themselves that they are not at fault. - Martyn Jacques
